How to: Fruit Smoothies!

Hello! this week I thought I would stay away from foods and actually make something light and refreshing since summer is around the corner. There are many types of different fruits that are in season and I thought that making a fruit smoothie would be an excellent idea to create. Since it is May I personally think that fruit is best during this month so that is why I’ve chosen to make this recipe, I hope that you have the time to try it out and have a happy and nice weekend! Enjoy!

 

Berry smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup blueberries

1 cup raspberries

1 container plain yogurt

3/4 cup reduced fat milk

2 tablespoons white sugar

1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

*Note* since this recipe is quick and easy anyone should be able to make it.

 

Steps:

  1. In blender pour in raspberries, blueberries, banana, yogurt, milk, sugar, vanilla and nutmeg.
  2. blend until smooth and serve!

 

Peach smoothie

Ingredients:

2 Bananas

2 peaches

12 strawberries

1 cup 2% milk

3 ice cubes

 

Steps:

  1. Cut bananas and place in bowl
  2. Cut strawberries and put in bowl with bananas
  3. Cut peaches and put in bowl with strawberries and bananas
  4. Place fruit in blender and and ice
  5. Blend until completely smooth, serve with fruit or extra ice

🔥🍳 HAPPY EASTER! How To: Spicy Deviled Eggs 🍳🔥

Hey everyone! As you know Easter is around the corner and I wanted to share one of my favorite snacks to eat  on Easter, it is deviled eggs- but instead they are going to be Easter themed. I personally know deviled eggs is not everyone’s favorite thing to eat but these deviled eggs are amazing and I am more than happy to share this recipe :]

 

Ingredients:

1 dozen eggs

1/2 teaspoon vinegar

1/2 mayonnaise

1/8 teaspoon black pepper

1/8 teaspoon salt

5 drops of Tabasco or sriracha (optional)

Steps:

  1. boil eggs on medium pot for 10-15
  2. once fully cooked remove eggs from pot and let sit in cool water
  3. remove from water and remove the shells
  4. cut each egg in half and remove yolks, put in bowl
  5. add in mayo, vinegar, black pepper and salt (Tabasco is optional)
  6. Mix together ingredients and spoon eggs with the mixture
  7. serve and enjoy!

How To: Perfect Yellow Cupcakes

Hello everyone! Since spring has come I wanted to make more sweet foods because honey is something that I real love to cook with during the sunny and hot seasons. Another thing, Since I tend to make a lot of cake recipes I figured it would be a good idea to start from the beginning and make something simple, so this week I plan on sharing a recipe on simple yellow cupcakes. since they are very convenient to eat life becomes much easier and less messier! so I hope you can spare time to create these cupcakes and hopefully you have a nice weekend!

 

Ingredients:

1 3/4 cups cake flour

1 1/4 cups flour

1 3/4 fine or granulated sugar

2 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1 cup butter, room at temperature

4 eggs

1 cup whole milk

2 tsp vanilla extract

 

Frosting:

2 cups butter at room temperature

5 cups powdered sugar

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 bag semisweet chocolate, melted

 


 

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. In a large bowl mix sugar and butter until completely smooth
  3. Mix in eggs and vanilla until mixed well and set aside for now
  4. In in another bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt
  5. Add dry and wet ingredients as well as milk and mix completely
  6. place cupcake liners and baking pan and gently spoon out even amounts to fill cups
  7. Place in oven and bake for 10-15 minutes
  8. once finished let sit and cool for 2-4 minutes

 

 

 

Frosting:

  1. Mix all ingredients together until smooth
  2. Add in extra sugar if needed
  3. at to cupcakes and enjoy!

 

 

How To: Cranberry Granola Bars

Hello! This week I wanted to share with you a quick and easy snack to take on the go or simply snack on at home! Everyone is familiar with dried cranberries so I wanted to incorporate one of my favorite fruits into a granola bar. With just a few ingredients you can whip up something that may seem like alot of time and effort but in the end is actually good and easy. hope you guys can make this snack and see you soon.

Ingredients:

cooking spray

2 cups oats

1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup vegetable oil

2 tbsp water

2 large egg whites

2 tbsp packed light brown sugar

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp salt

3/4 cup chopped walnuts

3/4 cup dried cranberries (add chocolate, optional)

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Spray pan with cooking spray and set aside
  3. On plate pour oats and heat in microwave for 1-4 minutes until golden brown
  4. In large bowl whisk honey, vegetable oil, water, egg whites, light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon salt until completely mixed.
  5. Mix in oats and toasted, chopped walnuts, and dried cranberries (chocolate), transfer onto pan. Using hands, press into even layer.
  6. Bake for 28 to 30 minutes  until golden. Cool and transfer to cutting board cut into bars.

 

How To: Simple Sushi Roll

Hello everyone! this week I wanted to try something a little different and more of an all time favorite, sushi! and since this will be a more simple sushi recipe it will only consist of a few ingredients. Since most types of sushi rolls consist of fish I will be sharing one with tuna and one without. Another thing, this recipe will consist of ingredients that you may not find in stores but they are optional and the recipe will be just as good! Ingredients:

2 sheets seaweed (Nori)

1 tsp of mayonnaise

1 tsp spicy chili sauce

1 tsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp sesame oil

 


 

Step 1:  In a medium bowl mix together all ingredients

Step 2: Lay nori on rolling mat and damp with wet paper towel

Step 3: Lay rice down and apply mixture

Step 4: roll and serve!

How To: Red velvet cake

Hello! this week I wanted to switch it up a bit and made a dessert that I would not normally eat due to the confusion that I’ve always had from it, many people are familiar with velvet cakes so I wanted to share a red velvet cake recipe. Among cake flavors red velvet is one of the richest and smoothest, with this quick and easy cake or cupcake version spread or make this and hopefully share with your friends and family and enjoy great dessert! Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups flour

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 tablespoons baking cocoa

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 tsp salt

1 1/2 cups vegetable oil

1 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla

Red food coloring

2 eggs

 

Frosting:

1/2 flour

1 1/2 cup milk

1 1/2 cup sugar

1 1/2 butter

1 tsp vanilla

 

 


Steps:

  1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In large bowl mix dry ingredients and slowly add in eggs- mix until combined
  3. Once combined add in milk, oil, vanilla and mix well
  4.  Add food coloring
  5. Pour mixture into pan and bake for 25- 30 minutes
  6. Once baked, set for 10 minutes

 

Steps (Frosting):

  1. In medium bowl mix flour and milk until completely smooth
  2. Heat in pan on medium heat until thick and creamy
  3. Remove from heat and cool for 10 minutes
  4. In large bowl combine sugar and butter with whisk until lightly fluffy
  5. Add in flour mixture and whisk until smooth
  6. Mix in vanilla and once done frost cake and serve~!

 

 

How To: Baked Macaroni

Hello again! this week I will share with you a more savory and well known dish that everyone is familiar with, macaroni. most people usually eat stove top macaroni which is usually easy to make, today I will show you how to make baked macaroni. Another thing, if you are vegan I will share with you a sauce to replace your cheese sauce, and the great this is that this vegan sauce is very easy to make since it only consists of a few ingredients, So hopefully you will have the time to prepare and make this recipe, you guys next week~

Ingredients:

2 cups milk

2 table spoon butter

2 table spoon all purpose flour

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp ground pepper

1 block cheddar cheese, shredded

16 oz macaroni (bag)

 

Vegan sauce:

1/2 cup cashews

1/4 cup coconut milk

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 cup peeled yellow potatoes

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp lemon juice

pinch paprika

pinch turmeric

1/4 cup peeled Carrots

  1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Boil water on stove and cook noodles until al dente
  3. When finished drain and set aside
  4. In a medium pan melt butter and stir in flour, stir continuously
  5. While stirring slowly add in milk and mix until combined
  6. once stirred and heated remove from heat and add in cheese, stir until smooth
  7. Once completely melted pour on cooked noodles, add pepper is desired
  8. With 9×9 inch pan oil pan and pour in macaroni
  9. Bake for 20-30 minutes
  10. Once baked set for 5 minutes or eat hot

 

Vegan Sauce:

  1. With pot boil water and place carrots, potatoes, cashews, and onions- cook for 10 mins
  2. Once boiled places veggies in blender and blend until, add 3/4 cups of water and blend until creamy
  3. Add spices and mix together
  4. Pour sauce over macaroni and serve

 

 

 

 

 

 

How To: Chocolate Chip Cake

Hello guys! This week I’m going to share with you a recipe that everyone will be sure to enjoy! there are all different types of candies that would be great for this recipe but today we are going to use chocolate chips to create a chocolate chip cake! Even though chocolate is very much favored you may choose to use and alternative such as butter scotch, white chocolate or even caramel. Ingredients:

3 1/2 cups flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

2 cups buttermilk

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups brown sugar

1 stick butter

2 large eggs

1 bag chocolate chips

Frosting:

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup butter

1/3 tsp salt

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

4 cups powdered sugar

 


Steps: 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a large bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together
  3. Mix in eggs and stir until completely smooth of air pockets
  4. In medium bowl combine buttermilk and vanilla extract, put aside
  5. Slowly add in buttermilk mixture and stir until smooth, tap on surface for air pockets
  6. Pour in chocolate chips and gently fold and stir until combined
  7. With two pans separate and pour into each evenly
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes                                                                                                    Frosting
  9. In Medium bowl  pour in heavy cream, salt, cocoa powder, vanilla extract and mix until whipped and smooth
  10. Once cake is finished baking set out and rest for 10 minutes
  11. Frost cake and serve~

How To: Banana Bread

Hello people! again it has been a while but since it is the new year of 2017 I thought I would share with you yet another baked desert. Banana’s are around all year and since most people do seem to like banana’s making a bread with it seems reasonable. Most of the time when I personally bake banana bread I pack it with different types of nut, but for this recipe I’ll tone it down a bit and keep it simple so that everyone can enjoy. Ingredients:

2 cups flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1/2 cup butter

3/4 cups brown sugar

3 ripe bananas

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 table spoon milk

2 large eggs

1 tsp nutmeg

1 cup nuts


 

Ingredients:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. In a large bowl mix sugar and butter until fluffy and sort of thick
  3. Slowly add in eggs, mixing continuously- mix until well combined
  4. In a small bowl mash bananas with a fork making sure completely mashed
  5. Mix in cinnamon and milk
  6. In a large bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt- combine all and mix well
  7. Add cream mixture into banana mixture- add in dry ingredients and mix until flour is not visible
  8. With a baking pan pour in batter and bake for 1 hour
  9. With tooth pick check every 20 minutes
  10. Once finished baking set aside for 10 minutes
  11. Slice and serve~

How To: Beef Stronganoff

Hello everyone! It’s been awhile but don’t worry I have a great dinner recipe to share with you for the holidays. So in the past iv’e shared many desserts and quick snacks during autumn season but since it is winter time iv’e decided to share you my recipe of Beef Stroganoff! I personally have never tried it but a friend of mine recommended me to try it out so i’ll do just that and also share it with you, Overall i hope that you enjoy this recipe and hopefully you will be able to share with your family and friends as well. Ingredients:

2 pounds beef roast

2 cups sliced mushrooms

2 onions, sliced

1 garlic clove, minced

1/4 cup butter

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup flour

1 1/2 cups sour cream

2 cups egg noodles

1 1/2 cups beef broth


  1.  With beef roast cut into 2 inch strips
  2. On medium heat cook mushrooms, onions, garlic and butter in skillet
  3. Stir occasionally until onions are soft and light brown
  4. Remove for skillet
  5. In the same skillet, cook beef until brown
  6. Stir in 1 cup broth while adding salt and worcestershire sauce
  7. Once on boil reduce heat, cover and cook for 15 minutes
  8. With remaining beef broth stir combine flour and stir into beef mixture
  9. With the onion and garlic mixture heat until a boil
  10. stir continuously, boil for 1 minute
  11. Stir in sour cream and heat until hot
  12. serve over noodles

Hello Again! this week i wanted to share a recipe in which everyone is familiar with, sugar cookies. Now, since sugar cookies are such a well known cookie i wanted to share with you the best type of sugar cookies and exactly how to make them. This is going to be a recipe i have used for a while when making cookies with frosting and while decorating. So i hope you enjoy this easy recipe and i hope that you will be able to create and bake them soon, and since Christmas is coming up soon (Or if you don’t celebrate you can always make them whenever you like) you can surprise guests with these cookies.

Ingredients:

3 cups all purpose flour

3/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup unsalted butter,

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1 tablespoon milk

1 cup powdered sugar


*If you do not own a mixer you can use whatever you prefer

  1. In a large bowl mix together baking powder and salt
  2. In another bowl mix sugar and butter until smooth
  3. Slowly add in egg and milk until fully combined
  4. Slowly add in flour and mix until thick and mixture doe not stick to sides of bowl
  5. When the texture is similar to a dough consistency divide in half
  6. wrap in waxed paper and store in refrigerator for 1-2 hours
  7. Pre heat oven to 375 degrees
  8. With the powdered sugar sprinkle on flat surface
  9. Lay the dough flat on powdered sugar surface *cover roller with the sugar
  10. Begin to roll dough out at 1/4 inch thick
  11. Use cutters for desired shapes, place on baking mat
  12. Bake for 7-9 minutes
  13. Sit out for 2 minutes and serve!

How to: Pumpkin Cinnamon Crescent Rolls

Hello again! Today i thought of sticking with a pumpkin recipe due to the fact that its fall and its not very often that you can do that and get away with it. Everyone likes crescent rolls right? they are those really buttery soft breads that are rolled up into spirals that everyone enjoys, well today i will share with a more sweet almost dessert like recipe, its includes lot of cinnamon and pumpkin so if you really like either of those ingredients then you will enjoy this recipe. Ingredients:

1 can crescent rolls

4 teaspoon butter, melted

1 tablespoon brown sugar

2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1 cup pumpkin puree

1/2 powdered sugar

1 tablespoon milk


  1. Pre-heat oven 375
  2. In a large bowl combine brown sugar and pumpkin spice gradually add in melted butter
  3. Open crescent roll and roll flat on counter or cutting board
  4. Brush on the sugar and spice mix onto the crescent
  5. Spread the pumpkin puree evenly being sure its completely covered
  6. With each roll flat on the pointy end facing your direction roll until a spiral effect is created
  7. Slice into 1 inch pieces and place on baking sheet
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly brown
  9. When finish set for 2 minutes
  10. Once finished drizzle a glaze on top and enjoy!

How To: Pumpkin Spice Cookies

Hello again! The last time we made cookies was last week well, here we are again! but this time i’ll show a more in season cookie recipe that not only is delicious but also includes pumpkins. For many people pumpkin is not really something you would eat on a daily basis, but since its fall pumpkin has been quite the craze from coffee to candies, pumpkin is being incorporated in everything!

Personally during the holidays i like to bake lots of different foods that incorporate pumpkin like savory and spicy foods, but for now ill share with you an easy and quick way to bake fresh pumpkin spice cookies, and hopefully you will enjoy them as much as i did baking and sharing them.

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups flour

1 teaspoon  baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups sugar

1/2 1 stick butter

1 cup pumpkin puree

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Pre-heat oven to 350
  2. In a large bowl combine flour , baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a large bowl- mix until combined
  3. mix in butter and sugar until smooth, mix pumpkin puree, egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. slowly mix in flour
  5. pour into pan and bake fore 10-18 minutes
  6. When finished set for 1-3 minutes and serve!

How To: Simple Halloween cookies

Hello Again! Since Halloween is very near i wanted to share with you all one of my favorite cookie recipes to make not only do they include two of my most favorite things to eat but they are also combined in one cookie! These cookies can be made not just on Halloween but for other holidays as well, so you can make these cookies whenever and add you own design whenever! i would also say that this recipe is so easy because of its use of ingredients and cooking time which is always convenient. Ingredients:

1 cup shortening

1 cup peanut butter

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 cup white sugar

2 Eggs

1/4 cup milk

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 bags Hershey kisses (Milk chocolate candies)


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl combine shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar and white sugar mix until smooth.
  3. Slowing one by one beat in eggs and stir in milk and vanilla extract.
  4. In the same bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt mix well until blended well and smooth.
  5. With a spoon scoop out spoon shaped balls and mold then more circular and rolls then into extra white sugar- place on pan sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 mins
  7. After time is up remove from oven and insert chocolate in the center of each cookie, allow to cool and enjoy!
  8. Bonus! if you want to follow the Halloween spirit you can decorate with orange and green frosting!
